Title:

Contracts Specialist

Seeking an Acquisition Contracts Specialist to support acquisitions, contracts, and related business processes throughout all stages of the contract management life cycle. The right candidate will be able to work independently and function effectively as part of a team and interact with people from junior to senior-most levels. This individual should have experience meeting deadlines and prioritizing contracts related items across large organizations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice, recommendations, and document support to multiple disciplined offices in all areas of lifecycle acquisition

  • Understand the purpose and content of acquisition deliverables, to include Statements of Work (SOW), Cost Estimates, Market Research, Quality Assurance Plans, Request for Proposals (RFPs), and other miscellaneous pre-award documentation

  • Create program schedules showcasing milestone events and track program status

  • Provide contractual domain expertise in implementation, execution, and administration for all aspects of contract management

  • Assist with identifying gaps between multiple contract acquisitions and requirements

  • Build a dashboard housing all acquisition content to support the tracking of acquisition planning and progress

  • Correspond with Government and developers regarding contract status, requests for additional information, etc.

  • May mentor and train less experienced professionals

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 5-10 years of related work experience

  • Experience with Government acquisition initiatives

  • Experience with post-acquisition support (i.e. contract modification, financial tracking, attending milestone events, providing analysis of progress, award fee management)

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills

  • Demonstrated attention to detail

Clearance Required:

  • TS/SCI with CI poly
