In this hybrid remote position, you will serve as the driving force behind the development, design, and seamless integration of end-to-end solutions across technical, management, staffing, and cost estimation domains. As the technical lead, you'll collaborate closely with Business Development, Capture, and Proposal teams, identifying, tailoring, and integrating technical capabilities to address customer requirements and position our company for success. Solutions Architects will:

  • Leverage domain expertise, develop comprehensive understanding of customer requirements and lead the development of a complete and highest-rated technical solution and price competitive proposal.

  • Identify technical resources needed to support Pre-B&P and B&P activities.

  • Participate in development of solutions and proposals to unusually complex problems which require a high degree of ingenuity and innovation; and collaborate with technical business units to craft unique solutions to respond to customer challenges.

  • Lead or support the development of the Technical Solution including our Approach, Graphics, and Roadmap with differentiated strengths, tailoring Team SAIC capabilities to the customer problem set.

  • Support capture with customer meetings by presenting SAIC's capabilities, services and solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors and 18 years or more of related experience; relevant years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

  • Demonstrated expertise providing innovative digital solutions in DoD or Federal environment for the following areas: Data Engineering, Data Architecture, and Data Management in a cloud and software development environment

  • Experience winning large, complex government Engineering, IT or Mission Support programs

  • Extensive experience as the lead technical architect on large ($50M+) government procurements either responding to or evaluating

  • Understanding of data management, data governance, microservice architectures, data orchestration, data streaming, cloud/multi-cloud architectures, agile methodologies, engineering best practices, delivery models or frameworks relevant to data ontologies and structures, data warehousing, data processing, data lake design or development, data governance and similar

  • Understanding of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, etc.

  • Demonstrated leadership capability to articulate a solution across all stakeholders and leadership

  • Expert-level written and verbal communication skills; experience transitioning solution into written/oral proposal

  • Understand costs, schedule and level of effort associated with delivering a solution

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with: DevSecOps, Software Development, Systems Engineering, Data Science and Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Containerization, ETL/ELT, Data Processing and Transformation, Cyber Security, RMF Framework, Security Accreditation Processes

  • Familiarity with data and cloud technologies

  • Cisco or other industry recognized IT infrastructure certifications

  • Familiarity with IC data platforms and systems

CLEARANCE:

  • U.S. Citizen with a TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI with CI poly

TRAVEL:

  • Ability to work on-site as needed; estimated at less than 50% but may flex as project requirements
