Job Title: 3rd Shift Extrusion Machine Operator 20-22/HR

Job Description

Candidates will operate compounding extrusion machines used to extrude polymer. Other objectives include becoming cross-functional in other areas and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Set up will involve loading and unloading spools of material from the machines and assisting packagers with packaging of cartridges while machines are still running. Candidates will lift up to 20 lbs on a regular basis and up to 50 lbs on a periodic basis.

Responsibilities

• Operate compounding extrusion machines to extrude polymer

• Become cross-functional in other areas

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Load and unload spools of material from the machines

• Assist packagers with packaging of cartridges while machines are running

• Lift up to 20 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs periodically

Essential Skills

• Experience with extrusion machines

• Machine operation skills

• Ability to operate single screw extrusion machines independently

• Production and machine operating experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a machine operation role

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00
