ManpowerGroup Specifications and Labels Manager in Chandler, Texas
Our client, a leading player in the food industry, is seeking a Specifications and Labels Manager to join their team. As a Specifications and Labels Manager, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting the Specs and Labels, Breaded team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Specifications and Labels Manager
Location: Chandler, Texas
Pay Range: $70,000 with a 20% bonus based on KPIs
What's the Job?
Build specifications for new items as approved by Senior Leadership and conduct meetings with the production team prior to production.
Create USDA compliant labels for products, ensuring accuracy in product names, ingredient statements, and allergen declarations.
Provide full support to Marketing and Research & Development in reviewing retail and private label graphics prior to printing.
Assist production in updating and creating processing specifications as processes change in the grilled or raw lines.
Stay up to date on USDA food regulations as they apply to food labeling and specifications.
What's Needed?
High school diploma required; some college preferred.
5 years of related Food Labeling, Food Safety, and/or Quality Assurance experience.
Supervisor experience preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Teams, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Word.
Clear written and typed communication skills are a must.
