Senior RF Design Engineer job in Chandler, Arizona is available with Moseley Technical Services Top Aerospace & Defense company. In this job you will deliver engineering solutions for RF/Microwave/Millimeter communications hardware systems tailored for defense applications. This includes overseeing technical proposals, guiding the transition from prototype to production, ensuring performance standards, conducting customer presentations, and managing schedule and cost constraints.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive systems analysis, modeling, and simulation of circuit or system performance, employing advanced analytical tools including cascade analysis for up/down converters.
• Detailed design of RF and mixed-signal communications hardware components, including digital receiver subsystems and exciters; components such as front ends, IF sections, phase-lock loops, AGC loops, synthesizers, and A/D and D/A conversion.
• Sophisticated filter modeling, analysis, and design.
• System integration, testing, and development of RF/millimeter-wave communications hardware, exploring new communications technologies for spaceflight.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and customers on internal requirements, serving as the primary technical interface for customers, participating in technical meetings, and aiding in the development of customer specification.

Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain Secret security clearance
• BSEE or equivalent and 8+ years of microwave/millimeter-wave design theory and component design, with substantial experience in delivering high reliability hardware from conceptual design to flight delivery.
• Mastery of microwave modeling tools such as Genesys, ADS, AWR, Ansoft HFSS, Designer, Maxwell, Matlab, and AutoCAD is crucial.
• Comprehensive understanding of complex communication systems theory, RF architecture, IMAs and circuit design.
• Expert knowledge of RF and mixed-signal design
• Documentation, organizational, and time management skills
