Schedule: Compressed Shift 8am - 6pm with on call weekends

Pay: $25 - $27 hourly

Location: Chandler, AZ

The principal duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Support the installation of new tooling and equipment.

  • Provide documentation and accurate record logging of work performed.

  • Provide maintenance and support of equipment throughout the fab

  • Train other employees on equipment and processes as required.

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain robot controllers, electrical control devices, mechanical units, transfer devices and peripheral equipment.

  • Diagnose and repair units using factory manuals, diagrams, and schematics.

  • Respond to on-call support request for production equipment as needed within 4 hours of receiving phone call.

  • Conduct basic path programming with teach pendant.

  • Perform I/O testing during commissioning of equipment.

  • Coordinate activities with peers, supervisor(s), and customers to minimize equipment downtime and interruptions.

Requirements:

  • Ability to use basic hand tools.

  • Must be willing to travel to Singapore for training. 

  • 1+ years of related experience, or comparable experience

  • Ability to ensure equipment is designed and programmed to specifications using standard techniques.

  • Ability to follow troubleshooting guide to test and diagnose equipment.

  • Ability to set breakpoints and step through C# codes to identify faults.

  • Ability to walk through trouble faults and determine path of correction with engineers overseas as needed.

  • Ability to work an on-call schedule and respond when required within 4 hours of being contacted.

  • Excellent customer interface skills

  • Ability to work in a clean room environment.

  • Able to work independently, with little direction.

  • Mechanical aptitude as well as the ability to use appropriate tools.

  • Ability to read and understand factory manuals and diagrams.

Preferred: 

  • Associates or higher in Mechanical engineering.

  • Proficient in C, C#, Python, or other programming languages

  • Prior work experience installing or maintaining tools and equipment in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
