Your Opportunity

Stantec has an opportunity for a highly motivated Electrical Engineering Intern. This is a paid internship position with part-time hours during the spring semester.

Your Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include CAD drafting, design calculations, developing specifications, on-site field work, and other entry-level engineering duties as needed to support our water and wastewater engineering groups. This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated, energetic professional who is interested in growth on a professional and personal level. Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Minimum requirements include some exposure to CAD Design programs (MicroStation and/or AutoCAD) and current good academic standing in accredited engineering school.

  • Commitment to contribute in an organization where client service is a top priority.

  • Enrolled or intends to enroll in power system type classes such as electrical machinery and power system analysis.

  • Good English written skills and oral commununication skills

Education and Experience

Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters Engineering Program. Prefer students in their junior or senior year of study.

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
