Description We are seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to join our team in the transport industry, based in Chandler, Arizona. The role involves ensuring the security of our computer systems, networks, and data. You will be responsible for designing secure networks, systems and application architectures, and managing, configuring and securing public cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, test and implement secure networks, systems and application architectures

• Plan, research and develop security policies, standards and procedures

• Maintain strong understanding of NIST and CIS Controls

• Monitor, detect and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities

• Manage, configure and secure public cloud platforms – IaaS, PaaS and SaaS

• Conduct regular security audits to identify potential weaknesses and implement improvements

• Manage the deployment of security patches at the OS/database/application layers

• Maintain knowledge of current cybersecurity trends and relevant technologies

• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to ensure secure design and development of products and platforms

• Provide technical guidance and leadership on information security matters to the organization. Requirements • Proven knowledge and experience in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP)

• Demonstrated ability to work with Checkpoint

• Proficiency in Cisco ASA, Cisco Routers, and Cisco Technologies

• Solid understanding of Computer Hardware

• Experience in Configuration Management

• Ability to participate in Design processes

• Knowledge and experience in Eigrp

• Expertise in Firewall Technologies

• Familiarity with the transport industry

• Proven experience as a Cyber Security Engineer

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively

• Familiarity with current cyber security trends and potential threats

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work towards long-term goals

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
