Join our team as a Receiving Clerk during our peak season!

Come join our Team as a seasonal Receiving Clerk for summer of 2025! We started with pastries handmade by Lois and Lloyd Martin produced inside of a garage and we have boomed into a multi-facility company where our many products are produced by machines and shipped domestically and internationally. As a member of the Martin’s Family, the Receiving Clerk a ccurately verifies and keeps records of incoming shipments. Quickly prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned.)

  • Moves ingredients and supplies throughout facility as needed.

  • Receives incoming ingredients adhering to strict protocol regarding food safety and food defense

  • Assists other departments with moving tasks.

  • Unloads and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.

  • Operates forklift to move shipments from receiving platform to storage or work area.

  • Communicates frequently with production personnel to ensure proper replenishment of goods.

  • In conjunction with the Inventory Control Specialist, investigates and remedies inventory discrepancies.

  • Reports food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.

    Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED;

  • Associate’s Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or

  • Six months to one year related experience and/or training; or

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
