We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Quality Technician.In this role, you'll inspect, test, and ensure that mechanical components meet our quality standards. You'll use precision tools, perform tests, and collaborate with engineers to improve product reliability. Pay will be dependant on experience.

salary: $23 - $25 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 7 AM - 3 PM

education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

Inspection and Testing:

• Perform inspections on mechanical components and products to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.

• Use precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to measure dimensions and tolerances.

• Conduct tests to evaluate product performance, durability, and safety.

Documentation:

• Record and document inspection results, including measurements, test results, and any detected defects or issues.

• Maintain detailed records of all quality control activities.

• Prepare quality reports for management and engineering teams.

Troubleshooting and Defect Analysis:

• Identify and analyze defects in products, and work with engineers or production teams to address and resolve issues.

• Recommend corrective actions to improve product quality.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure compliance with internal quality assurance protocols and external standards, such as ISO or other industry-specific regulations.

• Assist in the development and implementation of quality control processes and procedures.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with engineers, production teams, and management to address quality issues and improve processes.

• Provide input on product design improvements from a quality perspective.

Calibration and Maintenance:

• Ensure that all testing and inspection equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.

• Schedule and perform equipment maintenance as necessary.
