Description

We are currently looking for a Bookkeeper/Office Manager to manage and perform the financial functions that support the smooth and efficient function of our client. The Bookkeeper/Office Manager will provide sound and accurate financial decisions and foster a positive work environment and provide service to visitors and families in a compassionate manner that honors diversity and cultural values.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service (Positive attitude and excellent people skills)

• Provide excellent customer service by responding to common inquiries or complaints from customers, co-workers, or members of the business community.

• Oversee processing of all accounting support functions including:

• Timely billing and collections of all accounts receivable including billing

• Verification and payments of all accounts payable invoices

• Control of receipt and deposit of all payments received

• Prepare financial reports as required

• Review time cards and administer payroll policies and procedures

• Facilitate vendor coordination and supervision

• Process expense reports and track capital expenditures

• Maintain financial records as needed

• Maintain files folders for vendors, equipment, etc., as needed

• Prepare customer estimates, invoices, and agreements, when needed

• Assist in answering phones and general pricing information

Requirements

  • Minimum two (2) years of prior experience in Accounting, Bookkeeping, general office duties, and Accounts Payable/Receivable

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in QuickBooks Online

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in account reconciliation, administration/management with the focus on customer service

  • Experience with on-line banking

  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills including tact, patience, and diplomacy

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Proficient in data entry
