Description

We are offering a contract to hire opportunity for an Accounting Clerk for our client in Ceres, California. In this role, you will work on both Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions, with a focus on ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all processes.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accurate processing of invoices for both AR and AP.

• Uphold the integrity of financial data through verification and reconciliation.

• Engage with clients to resolve outstanding balances and facilitate timely collections.

• Correlate purchase orders, invoices, and payment records for AP transactions.

• Contribute to month-end closing tasks for AR and AP accounts.

• Respond promptly and effectively to inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal teams regarding transactions.

• Uphold adherence to company policies and accounting best practices.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Strong skills in data entry and invoice processing

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• A degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field may be preferred

• Excellent numerical skills along with the ability to spot inaccuracies

• The ability to handle sensitive, confidential information

• Strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work under strict deadlines

• Must have a keen attention to detail
