Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Information Systems Security Engineer to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Responsible for cybersecurity integration and management across the system, network, and enterprise

  • Implement required security functions in accordance with the 8510.01 Risk Management Framework (RMF), supporting the complete RMF lifecycle for the customer's baseline on each network domain, including all applications, networks, nodes, Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), cross domain services, and capabilities

  • Maintain expert understanding of the current security controls and RMF status of all three network domains, as well as any new services and environments that are added to the baseline

  • Creates RMF packages and is responsible for all data inputs and management of Assessment and Assurance (A&A) activities, including allocation of IA controls and development of RMF artifacts for all hardware and software delivered to the Government

  • Responsible for cybersecurity integration and management, ensuring cybersecurity and IA processes, procedures, and techniques are integrated into day-to-day operations of information systems and networks, including information security oversight within the organization and specific projects

  • Assess project system design requirements and topologies for cybersecurity engineering analysis and recommend solutions, mitigations, alternatives, or corrective actions

  • Supports all phases and aspects of DoD RMF policies and procedures for any projects as is therefore an integral part of the Agile teams to ensure changes account for all security requirements. As systems/networks are reaching ATO expiration, the ISSE is responsible for submitting all documentation to ensure that systems and networks maintain their existing ATO

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field

  • At least 12 years of relevant experience

Top Secret
