Job Description:

This position requires relocation to Kwajalein atoll in the Marshall Islands in support of construction site ther* e.

Job Description:

  • Plans, schedules, conducts, or coordinates detailed phases of the environmental engineering work

  • Develops environmental systems, applications, and procedures​

  • Conducts environmental engineering studies and prepares environmental impact reports for new construction projects and permits​

  • Provides technical assistance and interacts with project functions, the client, and regulatory agency in the resolution to regulatory issues and industry codes and standards​

  • Ensures compliance with government regulations and keeps abreast of new environmental engineering policies and technologies​

  • Supports engineering and project management in understanding and applying regulatory requirements, based on permits and legislation

  • Develops execution strategies and planning for project permitting

  • Ensures that regulatory approvals are in place to support project execution

Qualification:

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) environmental and 3 years of relevant experience

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Familiarity with environmental legislation and industry codes & standards affecting standard design, quality, or processes

  • Experience with regulatory requirements and approval processes with, USACE, PHMSA, USEPA

  • Knowledge of technical theory, engineering principles, good engineering practices and how to apply them to design execution

  • Working understanding of major project delivery, including the design process and typical project design deliverables

$0.00 - $1,500,000.00
