POSITION OVERVIEW:
This position will be a strong resource to support various finance and accounting functions as delegated by the Finance Manager. The Accounts Receivable Specialist is a key member of the Company’s financial team and collaborates closely with corporate functions.
Responsibilities
Conduct collection calls and correspondence in a goal-oriented environment
Provide customer service for collection issues, refunds, and account adjustments
Monitor and maintain assigned accounts, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding balances
Reduce delinquency and process credit memos
Post and allocate cash to invoices
Act as the primary contact for invoice and payment queries
Process approved adjustments and write-offs
Generate reports and collaborate with the Operations Director on delinquency notices
Reconcile customer disputes and provide excellent customer service
Support Billing and Accounts Payable as needed
Skills / Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
5 - 8 years of high-volume corporate collections experience
Self-motivated, self-starter professional
Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics preferred
Experience in aerospace industry collections preferred
Strong attention to detail and goal-oriented approach
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics
Prior experience in aerospace industry collections
Associate degree
