Production Worker

These team members make the products.  Cut raw meat products by knife to specifications as provided. Operate meat processing equipment such as automatic cutters, mixers, grinders, vacuum tumblers and sausage stuffers and perform all tasks relevant to that equipment.  Fulfill other tasks as required by the Processing & Production Supervisor.

  • Cutting meat

  • Weighing and portioning meat

  • Transport of meat through the processing stages

  • Loading and unloading tumbler

  • Hanging meat on racks

  • Cleaning and sanitizing processing equipment and area

Required Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Preferred Experience: No experience required

The salary for this role is $16.00 per hour.   Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, and candidate skill set and experience. Base pay is just one component of Jack Link’s Total Rewards package for Team Members. Other rewards may include annual incentive and program-specific awards. WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The work environment is a plant / office setting with varying degrees of temperatures and noise levels. Exposure to manufacturing equipment movement and wet / slippery floors. Travel may be required.
