Centerville CSD is looking to hire Lead Teachers for the 2025-2026 contract year.

Below you will see some information regarding the positions:

• Stipend and Release Time: $2,500 per year - 0% release time
• Number of Positions: 16 positions for 2025-2026, emphasis on grade level (K-8)/content groups (9-12) representation.
• Requirements: Applicants must have successfully taught at least four years with at least two years in the district. Must demonstrate appropriate knowledge and skills.
• Duties: Participate in two full-day planning/collaboration days outside of the school year (typically one before school and one after school) and participate in monthly building meetings. Help provide leadership and facilitation for high-quality instruction in building and district. Assist with the preparation of any presentation of professional development as appropriate.
• Term: Lead teachers will undergo a short evaluation of teacher leadership each year and will serve a three-year term. Candidates can reapply for additional three-year terms as desired. A lead teacher choosing not to complete a three-year term must submit a letter of resignation from the position.
