Job Description

The Team Lead for Contract Bookings is tasked with distributing the workload and overseeing the progress of the individual transaction team to guarantee that all contract booking tasks are carried out efficiently and precisely. You will mentor a team in daily work performance, engage in resource development, and offer leadership. You will work closely with the Management Team to identify process improvement opportunities and support the entire team with training, policy adherence and comprehension, work instructions, and reporting to ensure consistent communication, updates, and departmental expectations.

Job Duties

  • Oversee onboarding and training of new hires as well as training of new processes to current team members.

  • Assign incoming tasks to team members and ensure they are completed timely, accurately and efficiently.

  • Keep management informed of any significant events or concerns, assist in identifying, anticipating and addressing escalations.

  • Manage, monitor and ensure timely completion of:

  • Newly/renewed executed Master Equipment Service Agreements,

  • Assist in quality control by reviewing contracts/transactions for errors as completed by Post Sales Coordinator,

  • All Trade removal from Service Contracts,

  • Obsolescence removal from Service Contracts.

  • Collaborate with Contract Bookings management to establish efficient processes and drive continuous improvement and consistencies across the team.

  • Serve as Department Liaison for Cross-Departmental initiatives and provide updates to the team.

  • Support Contract Bookings Management Team with training and system integration and coordinate and report results on required system testing.

  • Participate in meetings with management team to evaluate KPI results and suggest improvements to enhance the customer experience.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.

  • Excellent time management skills.

  • Must be able to work independently, multitask and prioritize workload to meet demanding deadlines.

  • Must be a detail-oriented team player, have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with others.

  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • A passion for improvement with the ability to execute.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, and Access) is desired.

  • Reporting experience with Business Objects, SAP and Salesforce is a plus.

  • Prior experience in service contract administration is preferred.
