Temporary Accounts Receivable Specialist

Duration: 2-3 weeks

Job Description: Our company is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic accounts receivable professional who is proficient in Epicor Software to complete a 2-3 week project. The ideal candidate should have an excellent understanding of invoice generation, invoice discrepancies, and customer outreach. This project requires someone capable of diving deep into discrepancies, modifying invoices as needed, and possesses exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle all accounts receivable operations, including invoice management and collection of outstanding amounts

  • Liaise directly with customers for collections and customer account inquiries

  • Verify accuracy of invoices, identify discrepancies, and implement the necessary adjustments

  • Actively pursue new contacts via customer statements

  • Ensure accurate records of inventory and SKU's through system checks

  • Provide all necessary AR reports and metrics, cross-reference invoices, and execute follow-ups

  • Completing a set-up process, ensuring inventory and SKU’s are correctly coded and placed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on accounts receivable experience, including collections

  • Must have proficiency in Epicor Software

  • Strong skills in database management and record keeping

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills

  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously

  • A user name and password will be provided, and the candidate is expected to hit the ground running

Requirements • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in using Epicor and Epicor ERP software is essential.

• Demonstrated skills in Accounts Receivable (AR), B2B collections, Billing Collection, and Collecting Outstanding are required.

• Previous experience in Construction Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering is desirable.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is crucial.

• Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is required.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field is preferred.

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information.

• Knowledge of standard accounting principles and procedures is necessary.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
