Job Description :

This role will have responsibility for overseeing initial setup, certification and ongoing performance of all aspects of lab medicine at Methodist Celina. This role will also have the responsibility of building a team of professionals to manage our blood bank services for the campus.

  • Experience in CLIA/CAP accreditation strongly preferred

  • Formulates plans, organizes resources, directs personnel and develops policies in the Pathology Laboratory as directed by the Medical Director.

  • Twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week line responsibility of the department and sections of the laboratory to ensure implementation of the medical/clinical programs.

A. Education:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Clinical Laboratory Scientist or related area of specialty;

B. Licenses and/or Certifications Required:

MT(ASCP), CLS(ASCP, or MT(AMT)

C. Related Work Experience:

5 YEARS -

Three years of supervisory/coordinator experience in a hospital clinical laboratory performing complex procedures
