Your Job:

The Director of Quality is responsible for the overall operations of quality management throughout Methodist Celina Medical Center. Ensures that the hospital's policies and practices as related to patient care are within appropriate guidelines as designated by all State and Federal agencies as well as certifying agencies. Facilitates the hospital's JCAHO compliance and survey readiness. Acts as a resource to members of the management team in reference to legal guidelines for Patient Care Services.

Your Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in health profession required; Master's or equivalent experience preferred

• Certification as a case manager and/or CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) preferred

• Three to five years experience related to areas of risk, case management, and/or process improvement with a minimum of two years in management

• Extensive knowledge of State, Federal and regulatory guidelines/standards as they relate to the patient care services and medical staff services

Your Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the overall strategic planning and implementation of a comprehensive quality management program including the education and compliance component.

• Serves as a resource to the Board of Directors, Administration, managers, medical staff and employees related to quality issues.

• Serves as the liaison for the Texas Department of Health (TDH) related to quality issues that may arise.

• Oversees State, Federal and accrediting compliance. Serves as a resource for national trends, regulatory updates, survey/site visit readiness related to compliance.

• Incorporates the customer satisfaction surveys and data from the Guest Relation Representative to establish trends to be utilized for action plan development. Collaborates with the manger/directors to improve customer satisfaction.

• Responsible for the resource management program including utilization review and case management.
