Consumer Insight, Measurement & Analytics (CIMA) is a part of Disney Experiences and is a center of excellence leading strategy development and decision making through actionable data analytics, integration, and insights. Within CIMA, the Digital and Travel Operations Analytics (DTOA) team is focused on leveraging best practices in analytics to capture data, analyze, and optimize our digital and contact center channels, to drive Guest satisfaction and business outcomes.
In your new role as Senior Digital Analyst for Walt Disney World, you possess a passion for analytics and technology. You will play a critical role in delivering accurate, insightful analysis to drive decision-making throughout the organization. You must be comfortable working with partner teams, conducting both planned and ad hoc analyses, preparing reports, and communicating insights to a variety of audiences. Storytelling is a critical function of this position as is digesting complex business opportunities, understanding the data necessary to provide context to those business opportunities, and framing recommendations to enhance executive leadership’s actions regarding said business opportunities. You will work on innovative projects and products, collaborate regularly with commercial strategic teams, and perform holistic deep dives to tell stories with data driven insights.
Your new role reports to the Senior Manager of Walt Disney World Commerce Analytics and occasionally leads via coaching a professional intern. This role is a hybrid position working a set remote schedule.

What you will do:
Leverage professional experiences to demonstrate analytical aptitude
Prepare analytical plans, including milestones, hypotheses, and data sources necessary, to complete complex deep dive analysis
Proactively seek out additional information to round out analyses and confirm assumptions
Define and execute quality assurance procedures to ensure accuracy of analytical output on a regular cadence
Use statistical rigor and the scientific method to solidify validity of findings and explain those concepts to non-experts
Discover areas of opportunity for data improvement and follow-through to see those improvements implemented
Demonstrate poise in all interactions with a solutions oriented attitude
Be a participatory member of tactical teams with on-going initiatives
Lead peers in collaborative analytical efforts and cross-train other members of the team
Respond to partner inquiries and seek to understand needs in a business context before setting expectations and commitments
Accomplish goals with time and resources available by communicating to leadership and partners if adjustments need to be made
Conduct business with compliance and safety requirements top of mind at all times
Present distilled data stories and prepare summaries to all levels of the organization
Clearly communicate objectives of complex business questions and own consolidation of inputs from various sources
Develop succinct stories with a focus on actionable outcomes fit for the audience
Design clean, visually appealing, effective and impactful reports for executives
Present findings and outcomes to all levels of the organization with confidence and clarity
Support business objectives utilizing cross-channel analysis and triangulation of 3rd party insights
Proactively analyze and solve problems that business partners may not know they have
Act as subject matter expert representing owned channel data collection knowledge and use cases for solving business questions
Coordinate with vendors and off-shore resources to amplify impact
What you will need:
5+ years of professional career experience
3+ years of digital or cross-channel analytical experience
1+ years of leadership experience
1+ years in the travel industry
Experience with 3rd party analytical tools (Adobe Analytics, Tableau, SimilarWeb, etc)
Working knowledge of statistical concepts
Working knowledge of SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages
Bachelor’s degree in analytical/quantitative field – e.g. statistics, economics, mathematics, marketing analytics, finance, engineering or an MBA or Master’s degree in an analytical/quantitative field or equivalent work experience.
