JOB GOAL:

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:

In a team-based environment, perform installation, demonstration, maintenance and troubleshooting of computers and peripheral equipment and software. Works with team members in problem solving, installation and support. This position will work directly with customers to ensure exemplary customer service both on and off the sales floor.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install, support and repair customer computer hardware and software products.

• Interface effectively with customers to resolve issues related to effective use of technology.

• Collaborate with vendor support to assist in problem resolution.

• Must maintain compliance with required training and certification as stipulated by various vendors.

• Willingness to actively engage with customers and campus community.

• Handle and resolve customer concerns.

• Willingness to take on expanded roles to further the mission of EagleTech and Kirkwood Retail Operations.

• Assist on sales floor – create a superior brand encounter during every visit.

• Perform other related work duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES WITH/WITHOUT REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION:

Position involves working in an office setting. Occasional (10-33%) standing, pushing, pulling and grasping. Frequent (34-66%) reaching and viewing a computer and other types of close visual work. Constant (67-100%) sitting, walking, repetitive motion, talking and hearing.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalent, two years of experience with computer hardware and software products and proven trouble shooting skills require.

PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, OR REGISTRATIONS:

• Associate’s degree and/or technology certifications preferred.

• Apple Certified Technician (may be obtained after hire date)
