Job Description

Seeking skilled Production Operators for 1st and 3rd shifts in the Nutritional Department. As a Production Operator, you will ensure that products are processed and packaged correctly and efficiently. Key responsibilities include performing sanitation on various areas, monitoring quality assurance during production, conducting product analysis, maintaining accurate records, operating equipment safely, and inspecting equipment for maintenance needs. Occasional forklift operation may be involved; certification is not required prior to starting.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Work Environment

This role is based in a highly automated production facility that emphasizes safety. The work environment is very hot, exceeding 100 degrees, and requires standing for extended periods (up to 12 hours). Candidates should be prepared for exposure to moving parts, airborne particles, varying weather conditions, and loud noise levels. Work schedule includes a rotation of 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 3 days off, alternating weekends. Shift hours are either 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am. Steel-toe boots, lab coats, pants, and hair/beard nets are mandatory for safety compliance.
