Description
We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant t in Cedar Rapids, IA. The primary function of this role is to ensure the smooth running of our office by handling administrative tasks and maintaining the hospitality aspects.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure the efficient setup, tear down, and cleaning of catered meals
• Oversee the maintenance of coffee areas and dishwashers
• Coordinate the provision of afternoon snacks
• Support front desk responsibilities and other administrative tasks as needed
• Execute small-scale office activities to maintain efficient operations
• Liaise with building management, vendors, internal clients, external clients, and support services team members as required
• Collaborate with the Location Services Manager or Supervisor to maintain a safe, well-maintained, and clean office environment
• Oversee the maintenance of office equipment and supplies, including furniture, phones, security cards, and other supplies
• Contribute to a positive office culture through participation in internal and client-facing activities
• Manage multiple tasks and projects, maintaining professionalism and strong attention to detail at all times.
Requirements • Proficiency in Customer Service is required, with a focus on maintaining client satisfaction and resolving issues.
• Must have knowledge about Time, including the ability to manage and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Experience in Security, ensuring the safety and confidentiality of the workplace.
• Ability to liaise with Vendors, managing relationships and contracts effectively.
• Excellent Time Management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Capability to Execute tasks effectively, ensuring goals are met within the given timeframe.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong Proofreading skills, with an attention to detail to ensure high-quality outputs.
• Understanding of Scale Out operations, demonstrating the ability to handle growth and expansion.
• Must be Punctual, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and meetings are attended promptly.
• Experience managing Snacks or similar amenities in a corporate environment.
• Familiarity with Mindset Software, demonstrating the ability to adapt to new technologies.
• Ability to handle physical tasks such as Tear and Dishwashing, ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of the workspace.
• Experience in QA Management, ensuring the quality of products and services.
• Ability to provide Support Services, assisting other team members and clients as needed. TalentMatch®
