We are in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our clients prestigious organization in an Accounts Payable opportunity. Responsibilities:

• Oversee the complete cycle of accounts payable functions, including invoice processing, payment processing, record maintenance, and vendor reconciliation.

• Verify and reconcile invoices received for accuracy of charges, quantities ordered, and quantities received.

• Respond to vendor inquiries about invoice payments promptly and professionally to maintain positive vendor relationships.

• Manage disputes and discrepancies with vendors effectively and in a timely manner.

• Prepare weekly/monthly reports on accounts payable status.

• Perform internal audits to ensure financial accuracy and stability.

• Stay up to date with applicable federal, state, and company regulations, policies, and procedures for accounts payable.

• Use accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel to perform accounting functions and manage accounts payable.

• Handle account coding and use software like Concur and QuickBooks for financial services.

• Manage purchase orders, code invoices, and handle monthly invoices and payable invoices.

• Utilize skills in Accrual Accounting, Auditing, and Automated Clearing House (ACH) for efficient job performance.

Requirements • Proficiency in the use of Accounting Software Systems such as QuickBooks and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Demonstrated experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accrual Accounting

• Proficiency in Account Coding, auditing, and various accounting functions

• Experience in handling Purchase Orders, Code Invoices, Monthly Invoices, Payable Invoices and Vendor Invoices

• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) operations

• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis

• Experience in batching for efficient workflow management

• Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services and Concur for financial management

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in the performance of complex financial calculations

• Excellent organizational skills to manage various accounting tasks simultaneously

• Strong communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred

• Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is a plus.
