Located minutes from downtown Austin, Cedar Park Regional Medical Center is a level IV Designated Trauma Center with more than 600 healthcare professionals working together to provide inpatient, outpatient, surgical and emergency care for Cedar Park and the greater Austin region.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer to join our team! This is a Full Time position within our Ob/Gyn Practice.

Responsibilities

Presents examination education to the patient prior to exam, gives post procedure instructions pertinent to the exam performed

Consistently obtains all Ultrasound exam information

Performs Ultrasound independently, consults the Physician as necessary

Performs Ultrasound Interventional procedures utilizing sterile technique

Maintains equipment, cleans and disinfects probes after each patient

Assists the physicians with biopsies, drainage, etc

Maintains Ultrasound patient log book and collects data as necessary for statistics

Consistently labels body parts, correctly

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Associate's Applied Science in Sonography, or related field required

Registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) required

American Heart Association (AHA) approved course in Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire

OB/GYN Experience preferred including TA and TV Gyn Sonos, 1st trimester, anatomy and growth scans, and 3D scans
