Job Description:
SUU Dining Services is seeking a creative and motivated Social Media and Marketing Intern to assist in shaping our brand presence on campus and beyond. This position provides hands-on experience in marketing, event coordination, and social media management, offering exposure to both local and national branding strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Assistant Dining Director to create engaging marketing content for SUU Dining.
Manage and create content for SUU Dining's social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.), including posts, stories, and interactive campaigns.
Assist in planning, organizing, and executing student engagement events, promoting these events through social channels.
Gain insight into national corporate marketing initiatives and high-level branding strategies.
Analyze social media trends and performance to optimize content strategies.
Work within flexible hours to accommodate student class schedules.
Qualifications:
Interest in social media, marketing, and event planning.
Proficiency in social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
Strong communication skills and a creative mindset.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Prior experience with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
Proficiency in Microsoft, Outlook, Google Drive, etc.
