ManpowerGroup Maintenance Mechanic in Cedar City, Utah

Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting production teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Cedar City, Utah

Pay Range: $26-$32/hr with $1 shift differential for night shift

What's the Job?

  • Follow all work instructions and safety policies, including use of all PPE and safety equipment

  • Install plate changeovers and start-up machines for production needs when required

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance checks on all production equipment and machinery

  • Repair basic mechanical components and replace parts on machines

  • Observe and listen to mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of problems

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 3-5 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of training and experience

  • Ability to interpret documents such as procedure manuals, blueprints, schematics, charts, diagrams, etc.

  • Ability to use precision measuring devices including amp meters, electric meters, and hydraulic gauges

  • Basic understanding of systems, equipment, and schematics
