Robert Half Office Manager in Cassopolis, Michigan

Description We are seeking an Office Manager to join our team in the detail oriented Services industry based in Cassopolis, Michigan. This role carries the responsibility of ensuring smooth and efficient administrative operations within our workplace. The selected individual will be the linchpin of our office procedures, maintaining a conducive work environment, and fostering effective communication. 100% onsite, M-F, 8am-5pm. Must have office management experience and a passion for teamwork.

Responsibilities: • Supervise and oversee the work of clerical and administrative staff, ensuring adherence to office policies and procedures. • Manage the office layout, desk assignments, and maintenance schedules to create a safe and work-conducive environment. • Handle budget and inventory management tasks, including managing office supplies and equipment, and resolving any related issues or discrepancies. • Undertake human resources tasks in scenarios where required, including but not limited to recruitment, employee relations, and administrative support to management. • Coordinate scheduling and event planning duties, including arranging meetings, booking conference rooms, and organizing office events. • Develop and maintain internal office communication protocols to ensure effective and efficient information dissemination. • Serve as a liaison between employees and upper management, addressing concerns from both parties. • Perform various administrative tasks, such as managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, handling files and databases. • Utilize various office skills, including answering inbound calls, operating office equipment, and managing calendars and daily schedules. • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness and safety. Requirements • Candidate must possess skills in answering inbound calls efficiently and professionally.

• Basic office skills are required for this position.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites is a mandatory requirement.

• Prior experience in office administration is preferred.

• Knowledge of standard office functions is necessary.

• Ability to order office supplies and manage inventory is required.

• Proficiency in operating standard office equipment is necessary.

• Strong customer service skills are essential for this role.

• Ability to manage calendars, daily schedules, and meeting schedules is essential.

• Prior experience in office management will be considered as an added advantage.
