Environmental Justice Liaison Division: Division of Resource Management (DRM) Reports to: Environmental Director Worksite: DRM - Environmental Department Work Hours: M-F, 8:00am - 4:30pm, some evenings as needed LLBO Status: Exempt Safety Sensitive: No License/Certification Requirements: Valid MN Driver's License preferred, current insurance or be insurable. Summary: Establish and nurture partnerships with a diverse array of stakeholders across levels of internal and external government with a focus on environmental justice and Traditional Ecological Knowledge/indigenous Knowledge. This includes overseeing and managing the Environmental Justice and Climate Programs, as well as coordinating various environmental justice efforts within and outside the Leech Lake government and the Tribal community. Education Requirements and Experience: Minimum of B.S. in Biological Sciences, Natural Resources, Environmental Justice, or related field, or currently in final semester or a minimum of four years professional experience in Biology, Resource Management or Environmental Justice related field. Knowledge of LLBO Natural Resources, both current and historic. Must be a natural resource gatherer.
