Job Description

The Server Analyst is responsible for installing and supporting the global infrastructure solutions for Parker LORD Corporation in both regional datacenters and individual facilities. Focus on technology, adaptability, and willingness to learn, adherence to project management and ITIL methodologies for Change, Incident and Problem Management. Growing technical skills will be paramount to success as this forward-thinking individual will have to work across a wide array of business and IT groups to help bring projects to completion.

 Participate in the planning, implementing, supporting, and maintain of hardware and software in the data center

 Serve as a point of contact for server, storage, and backup related issues

 Assist with the automation and instrumentation of daily/weekly/monthly maintenance on infrastructure

 Build and deploy pre-defined technical solutions at the direction of Senior Server Engineers

 Participate in business continuity planning of current and future remediation solutions for multiple contingencies

 Support and communicate system engineering policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures

 Implement and enforce policies and procedures to improve the performance and health of the infrastructure

 Create concise and accurate technical documentation

 Manage 2 small to medium infrastructure engineering initiatives simultaneously

 Liaise with internal teams to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and stakeholder involvement

 Provide 1st level support for infrastructure project delivery and problem escalations according to SLAs

 Handle routine on-call duties

Compensation:

$40-50/hr

Skills and Requirements

Experience with Microsoft Server 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019, and 2024

 Experience working with and administering VMware Cloud Foundation

 Experience working with and administering Nutanix Enterprise Cloud

 Experience designing, building, and maintaining highly available fault-tolerant systems

 Demonstrated understanding of SMTP, LDAP, SNMP, DNS, DHCP etc.,

 Experience working with App & Web Servers including IIS, .NET, Apache etc.,

 Knowledge of backup technologies such as Commvault, NetBackup, Veeam, Rubrik, Acronis, and Avamar

 Knowledge of cloud offerings such as Azure and Amazon Web Services

 Experience working within ServiceNow

 Basic understanding of Network layers

 Comfortable working in a geographically diverse team Experience working with and administering Dell VxRail including OMNI and PowerStore

 Experience with scripting. (Shell Scripting, VBScript, PowerShell)

 Experience with Azure DevOps

 Experience working with App & Web Servers including IIS, .NET, Apache etc.

 Familiarity with server monitoring solutions

 Experience performing disaster recovery testing null
