Pay Range: $64.07-$105.71*

CAH-Pharmacist-Part Time – Day Shift– 10-hour shifts- Req# 7446

Interprets physician prescriptions and medication orders. Acts as a drug information resource to patients, medical staff, nursing staff and ancillary department personnel. Compounds and dispenses prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals for patient care by performing the related duties.

Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited school of Pharmacy.

• NYS Pharmacy licensure.

• Required:

• Experience with automated pharmacy systems, IV Laminar Flow Hood or the willingness to learn.

• Self-directed, motivated, and capable of supervising support personnel.

• Must have the ability to work well with others.

• Must be familiar with computers and have a good working knowledge of a clinical information system.

• Must have excellent communication skills.

Preferred:

• Hospital experience.
