Description

Responsibilities:

  • Assist to rig and move machines and equipment to include positioning, leveling, aligning, and anchoring.

  • Execute work orders with some assistance in a timely manner.

  • Ensure efficient operations of all equipment and machines by executing preventative maintenance on site utility systems such as HVAC units, air compressors, chillers, cooling towers, etc.

  • Diagnose machine or equipment malfunctions and operating difficulties, implement repairs as required to minimize downtime.

  • Perform skilled maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, HVAC and other physical structures with the use of standard or specialty tools.

  • Assist facilities engineers in developing methods and procedures to improve efficiency and workflow.

  • Oversee and review the work of lower-level technicians.

  • Develop Standard Operating Procedure documents (SOP) for repair and maintenance of machines.

  • Assure compliance with Textron Safety Policies and procedures and with applicable federal, state, and local codes, regulations, and requirements.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required, technical school or certifications preferred

  • Years of Experience: 6-9 years of relevant experience

  • Technical Knowledge: Experience with the basic use and/or application of technical and mechanical principles, theories and concepts preferred.
