Description

We're seeking a Quality Controls Specialist for a growing manufacturing company in Carson City. This is a temporary to permanent position, regular hours are Monday-Friday 6am-4:30pm

Duties include:

• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on parts and assemblies to ensure they meet specifications and requirements.

• Complete and maintain detailed quality inspection reports with accuracy.

• Utilize tools such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and gauges to conduct inspections effectively.

• Conduct equipment calibrations and verification checks, documenting all results properly.

• Review engineering drawings to ensure products align with design intent.

• Accept or reject finished products, reporting and documenting any items that do not meet required standards.

• Adhere to and maintain compliance standards

• Provide valuable input to enhance processes and create efficiencies in workflow and inspections.

  Requirements

• Proven experience in quality control, manufacturing, or a similar field.

• Proficiency in using precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers).

• Familiarity with AS 9100D quality requirements is a MUST

• Strong attention to detail and ability to review engineering drawings.

• Analytical mindset with a problem-solving attitude.
