Description We are seeking a Payroll Accountant to join our team in Carrollton, Texas. As a Payroll Accountant, you will play a key role in our manufacturing company by managing payroll for our team of around 230 employees weekly. With the assistance of software like Paycom and Great Plains, you'll ensure that each member of our team is compensated accurately and efficiently. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Uphold HR confidentiality as a crucial aspect of role

• Administer payroll for approximately 230 employees on a weekly basis using Paycom

• Utilize mobile tech daily for time tracking and transfer information to the accounting system

• Operate Great Plains accounting system for efficient payroll management

• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes

• Manage onboarding and offboarding of insurance

• Collaborate with supervisors for time approval in the system

• Liaise with construction teams as necessary

• Use various software systems for accounting processes

• Perform auditing tasks as necessary to ensure accuracy of payroll and accounting records. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now

• Knowledge of Ceridian and Concur software

• Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration

• Proficiency in About Time software

• Strong understanding of Accounting Functions

• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting methods

• Experience in Auditing

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

• Proven experience as a Payroll Accountant in the manufacturing industry

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
