Job Title: Embedded Software DeveloperJob Description

Embedded Software development for HVAC projects, including thermostats, chillers, condensers, and more. The candidate will support current projects and those awaiting approval, with a primary focus on commercial HVAC systems for businesses like Walmart and Home Depot, as well as commercial refrigeration for 7-Eleven and warehouses. The team develops controls and control algorithms, working with a variety of boards. A key project involves working with compressors from a new manufacturer, using the Modbus protocol to enable communication between the control board and the compressor. Another project requires adding a new board and getting software to run on it.

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Carrollton, Texas and some days remote.

Work Environment

on-site in Carrollton, TX, 5 days per week as a contractor, switches to 4 days a week after full-time hire, with people on the development team
