Job Duties and Qualifications

Job Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on enterprise application architecture, design review, and technical mentorship

• Provide support to the Product Owner in ensuring all the deliverables are completed on time

• Utilize Appian’s best practices to design and build of BPM applications

• Support multiple Appian projects and provide technical guidance and mentorship

• Guide project team members on architecture design, configuration management, DevSecOps to drive technical success

• Validate the solution implemented against best design practices, create prototype to get Business feedback to achieve desired outcome

• Perform Appian performance tuning efforts to ensure design implemented scales well for business need

• Lead discussions with business stakeholders to understand their business processes and technical needs

• Serves as an Appian Subject Matter expert on all Appian projects

• Provide hands-on, expert-level technical assistance, coaching and mentoring junior developers

  Required Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in architecting Appian applications

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build relationships

• Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum Framework

  Qualifications:

• Skills typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or similar discipline, and 10 years of related experience or through 14 years of software development experience.

• Completion of a master's in computer science or similar discipline is preferred
