Maintenance Manager

The following is a list of specific duties, which are essential functions of this job; however, this list is not all

any/all duties assigned by leadership, irrespective of whether such duties are specifically included in this list.

· Direct team members in the installation and repair of electrical and mechanical systems, apparatus,

and components of industrial machinery and equipment, following electrical codes, manuals,

schematics, and blueprints.

· Work with direct reports to schedule and assign team members to the daily tasks of installation and

maintenance of facilities, production equipment, infrastructure etc. via SAPPM work orders. Follow

up to ensure work is completed and SAPPM is updated appropriately and accurately.

· Manage GSG Budget

· Work with direct reports to schedule maintenance technicians and maintain a database for

equipment calibrations, predictive maintenance activities, and preventive maintenance activities.

· Direct outside contractors in the installation of machines and equipment following applicable

electrical codes, suppliers’ recommendations, and blueprints.

· Provide leadership and support to guide team members in assessing malfunctioning machinery using

test equipment and following up with team members to ensure accurate diagnosis.

· Build relationships with Operations and work to ensure GSG is utilized to its full potential while

seeking customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.

· Provide leadership and support of Lean Manufacturing initiatives.

· Responsible for HVAC, chillers, boilers, air compressors, pumps, piping systems, electrical

infrastructure, and systems for multiple facilities.

· Develop relationships with suppliers to aid in negotiating favorable pricing. · Prepare reports, analyze data (A3, RCA, 8D), and make recommendations for improving operations and solving maintenance-related problems. · Ensure maintenance team members are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated. · Manage data accuracy of equipment under scope in the computerized maintenance management system (SAPPM), monitor notifications, work order initiation, work order completion, team member utilization, and track maintenance history of equipment. · Track, analyze, and improve key maintenance metrics such as resource utilization, backlog, maintenance cost, PDM/PM compliance, schedule compliance, and budget compliance for projects.

Must Haves:

Bachelor's degree Required and prefer this to be Engineer or Science related.

10 + years of Experience in Maintenance and Engineering working on Projects and Program Managment.

Project Managment Coursework certifications in Project Managment

Previous Technical Supervisory experience demonstrating the ability to manage teams of skilled trades.

Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems

Five years of electrical experience with facilities maintenance preferred

Must posses excellent written and verbal communication skills

Must be proficient in computer software programs such MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, MS Projects a plus, SAP a Plus.
