Eaton Corporation Material Handler - 1st shift in Carol Stream, Illinois
Eaton’s division is currently seeking a Material Handler - 1st shift. This position is based at our Carol Stream, IL location. The Material Handler is responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to perform Order Filler and Checker duties.
The hourly rate for this position is $21.05 per hour.

What you’ll do:
• Follow all health and safety procedure and regulations as dictated by the organization and the state
• Operate forklift with care and with awareness to people and environment around machine and ensure it is properly stored, cleaned and ready to operate
• Perform maintenance on machine as needed
• Follow and update inventory activity, lists, records, and log all completed tasks as needed/by end of day
• Stack and organize large bulk items
• Remove inventory from trucks or shipping and delivery to proper location & carry inventory for shipping to proper truck
• Move inventory/materials from facilities to workstations, pick-up locations, or other locations
• Make note and request any damaged parts or replacements needed
Qualifications:
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
• High school degree or equivalent
• Two (2) years’ experience working with heavy machinery, forklifts, or other related equipment.
• Stand up forklift experience required
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of the work location to be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
