Dignity Health Mercy San Juan Medical Center is a 384-bed not-for-profit Level 2 Trauma Center located in Carmichael California. Responsibilities

The incumbent performs routine and complex diagnostic imaging procedures according to the written or transcribed verbal orders and within the scope of his or her Certification at all MHS imaging facilities. Provides advanced support and training for other technologists; coordinates schedules workload assignments for shift operations and procedural supply inventories. Demonstrates competency in patient care for neonate pediatric adult and geriatric patients. May have access to or be required to distribute drugs needles or syringes from storage locations (such as large stock supplies automated dispensing units and other carts) to/within patient care areas or treatment carts as defined by hospital policy/procedure.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Licensure:

  • CA State Department of Health Service Certification as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)

  • CA Fluoroscopic Permit (within 90 days of employment)

  • BLS- American Heart Association

  • Current RTTF

Special Skills:

  • Knowledge of medical terminology / anatomy.

  • Working knowledge of radiation-producing equipment.

  • Proper judgment in minimizing radiation dosages.

Pay Range

$64.47 - $64.47 /hour
