Description

We are looking for a dedicated Member Services Representative to join our expanding team in the insurance sector, located in Carmel, Indiana. This role provides a contract to permanent employment opportunity, where your main tasks will involve processing client claims and handling inquiries. You will also be tasked with keeping client records up to date and overseeing their accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently manage incoming client calls and inquiries

• Process approximately 30-40 client claims daily

• Keep client records updated with high precision

• Ensure quick data entry without sacrificing quality

• Adjust to frequent interruptions and maintain focus on tasks at hand

• Utilize word processing and spreadsheet software for various office tasks

• Carry out basic office tasks such as copying, filing, and email correspondence

• Oversee client accounts and take necessary actions based on the account status

• Prioritize speed and accuracy in all tasks.

Requirements • Must possess proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel

• Should have basic office skills, including filing and copying

• Excellent customer service skills are mandatory

• Ability to type at a speed of 6,000 - 8,000 kph, preferably in Alpha

• Must be detail oriented in handling email communication

• Previous experience in the health insurance industry is desirable but not mandatory

• Ability to multitask and handle customer queries effectively

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
