MISO Energy Manager, Technology Portfolio in Carmel, Indiana

Description

Some of the responsibilities for the Manager, Technology Portfolio include:

  • Act as thought leader corporate-wide, advising cross-functional teams to design solutions that achieve defined strategic objectives furthering MISO’s strategy

  • Oversee technology product roadmaps by collaborating with stakeholders to identify goals and objectives that deliver on strategy

  • Facilitate, synthesize and sequence strategic inputs that contribute to strategic goals and objectives into long-range roadmaps

  • Work across the portfolio teams to identify dependencies and risk mitigations that optimize the planning and delivery of technology solution

  • Ensure delivery teams understand vision, key objectives and scope for solutions in the roadmap

  • Support organization transformation management needs

  • Evaluate and manage the performance of direct reports; including creating development plans that align with individual professional goals and the organizations ongoing needs

To be a successful Manager, Technology Portfolio we’re looking for the following skills/experiences:

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience

  • A minimum of five years of experience managing teams, employee performance, coaching and mentoring

  • Proven experience defining and evaluating technologies, documenting, and managing implementation of multi-year roadmaps that meet organizational strategies

  • Examples of prioritizing the solutioning of strategic and business needs

  • Strong business acumen and technical depth to engage in problem solving with business and technical teams

  • Building positive relationships through collaboration with other business leaders to build roadmaps that deliver on their needs

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field; MBA or MS degree (preferred but not required)

  • Aha! roadmap software experience is a plus

Appropriate level will be determined based upon experience and knowledge.
