Early Careers & Outreach Manager - Carmel, IN (Hybrid)

The Early Careers & Outreach Manager will play a key role on the Talent Acquisition team primarily supporting early career talent programs. This position will support & execute recruitment events & activities across the US to promote Allegion’s employer brand & build a pipeline of diverse, future talent for Allegion. This position will have responsibility for the recruitment lifecycle management of open positions for the company’s summer internship & functional early career rotational programs across the US. Additionally, this position will engage in DE&I talent pipeline efforts including outreach and partnerships across the enterprise.

This position ideally will be based in the Greater Indianapolis area with hybrid work arrangements but would consider a regional employee remotely with periodic travel to Carmel, IN.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide input around early career and university relations program strategy; advise HR & business leaders on best practices for early career attraction & retention

  • Build & grow university relationships with targeted universities & colleges across the US; lead internal campus teams to assist in promoting Allegion’s employment brand & build a pipeline of diverse talent throughout the year

  • Plan & staff university events such as career fairs, on-campus interviews and student events (both virtual & in person) in support of program goals & hiring needs for the business

  • Identify & nurture university & alumni partnerships to promote Allegion’s employment brand to diverse talent pools; identify new opportunities for strategic partnerships

  • Execute the company’s annual recruitment process for the US summer internship & functional early career rotational programs; responsible for full cycle recruitment of the company’s US based internship & early career program openings (roughly 75 openings annually)

  • Utilize recruiting tools & university job posting sites to capture key metrics that are used to influence hiring strategies & refine early career talent strategies

  • Develop compelling content for use on social channels & early career marketing and branding campaigns

  • Analyze current social media strategies to determine ROI; follow trends to ensure Allegion is participating in the right ‘spaces’ at the right time

  • Gather market intelligence on early career talent and develop sourcing strategies to compete effectively for top interns/graduates

  • Proactively diagnoses sourcing and recruiting issues that impact Allegion’s ability to attract and retain qualified, diverse early career talent; develop & implement solutions for action in partnership with HR & business leaders

  • Partner with the business to identify and drive diversity hiring by collaborating with underrepresented groups and associations throughout the year

  • Collaborate with global locations with general early careers support and best practices, as needed

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, human resources or related field is required

  • 5+ years’ experience in talent acquisition or human resources required; prior early careers program management experience required

  • Experience with recruitment applicant tracking systems and social media channels required; prior Workday experience preferred

  • Demonstrated experience working with key stakeholders to assess complex hiring needs and develop plans for action

  • Strong passion for branding & attraction efforts within talent acquisition

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities & possess a solid method for follow up activities; strong organizational capabilities

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced, dynamic and matrixed environment; demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships at all levels of an organization

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, consistently demonstrating a high degree of professionalism and customer/candidate service

  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, regionally and nationally
