In one year as the Accounting Analyst , you will know you were successful if you:

• Managed GL accounting, including journal entries, sales and use-tax filings, and revenue/expense coding.

• Provided backup for Accounts Payable, handling invoice verification, coding, and processing.

• Ensured compliance with US GAAP and FERC accounting requirements.

• Identified and implemented process improvements, focusing on automation and efficiency.

• Participated in system development, product implementation, and testing processes.

• Maintained organized digital AP and GL files and emails.

We are looking for someone who possesses the following:

• Strong ability to manage and coordinate projects.

• Analytical skills to define problems, collect and analyze data, and draw valid conclusions.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; highly organized with attention to detail.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Familiarity with NERC, FERC compliance, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.

Experience & Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.

• 4 years of relevant experience in accounting functions.

• Preferred experience with Oracle and Concur Solutions.

Appropriate level will be determined based upon experience and knowledge.
