Description of the role: The Tutor position at Tutor Doctor - North County San Diego is a rewarding opportunity to help high school students excel in Biology. As a Tutor, you will have the chance to work one-on-one in-home with students, providing personalized instruction and support to help them develop a strong understanding of Biology concepts. Responsibilities: * Provide personalized one-on-one tutoring sessions for high school students in Biology * Use the homework, quizzes and tests they provide to build a plan to help them stay at grade level and improve their grades  * Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to both students and parents * Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs and learning styles of each student * Write session reports for parents after each session * Help with executive functioning skills such as study skills, time management and prioritization.  Requirements: * Strong knowledge and understanding of Biology concepts at the high school level * Prior tutoring or teaching experience  * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work with diverse learning styles and adapt teaching methods accordingly * Highly organized and detail-oriented Benefits: * Flexible work schedule * Competitive compensation: $23 - $30 per hour * Opportunity to make a positive impact on students' academic success About the Company: Tutor Doctor - North County San Diego is a leading provider of in-home tutoring services worldwide with 400 franchisees and 20 years of experience.
