We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Project Accountant growth path to becoming Accounting Manager! As a Sr. Project Accountant, you will play a crucial role parting with the VP of Accounting to support financial operations of the company, including monitoring project costs, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, managing cash flow, and supervising the accounts payable and receivable processes.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, including monthly and year-end financial statements

• Monitor and control project costs, tracking actual costs against budgeted amounts and report variances

• Prepare and distribute job cost reports, providing insights into project profitability

• Manage the billing process for projects, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing

• Maintain organized and accessible financial records

• Maintain excellent verbal and written communication with customers, subcontractors, and staff

• Stay current on rules and regulations as they apply to company financial management

Requirements

• Knowledge and experience in Project Accounting specifically within Construction industries.

• Understanding of WIP reporting and CTC.

• Proven ability to handle Liens

• Proficiency in managing General Ledger

• Experience in handling Month End Closes
