Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in Carlsbad, California
Description A Management Resources client is seeking a highly skilled, experienced Senior Financial Analyst consultant with robust NetSuite expertise to join our team on a 2-3 month engagement basis. This role is essential within our manufacturing environment and the ideal candidate will contribute by optimizing revenue reporting, margin analysis, and creating accurate KPIs and dashboards in NetSuite.
Responsibilities
Leverage NetSuite to optimize revenue reporting and margin analysis.
Create Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and insightful dashboards to provide more detailed and accurate reporting to management.
Provide financial planning and analysis support to various functional leaders and their respective teams.
Collaborate with other departments to gather critical financial information.
Identify trends and analyze variances in financial performance to provide recommendations for action.
Prepare ad hoc analyses as required by the leadership team.
Assure all reporting is in compliance with financial rules and regulations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Proven experience in manufacturing finance and use of NetSuite is highly required.
Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
Excellent working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
Proven track record of successfully handling short-term financial projects.
Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Requirements • Hold a minimum of 7 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Margin Analysis and Gross Margin Analysis.
• Have substantial experience in Revenue Reporting and Optimization.
• Showcase ability in Financial Reporting and Analysis.
• Possess advanced skills in Financial Analysis.
• Have an in-depth understanding of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A).
• Exhibit capability in Flux Analysis and Inventory Analysis.
• Have knowledge of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
• Be familiar with the use of NetSuite for financial operations.
• Possess excellent skills in Microsoft Excel for financial computations and data analysis.
