Job Description:

L3Harris is the industry leader in designing and producing Link 16 terminals for the United States Government and entities around the world. With many terminal designs in development, and updates to the already certified designs, L3Harris is expanding its test team to support this effort. We are looking for a dedicated and multi-talented professional to join the test team and take on this detail-oriented test position. You will bring your ideas and apply your innovation and experience to develop new and modern test techniques. Test automation will be a key contribution area in order to reduce test time and improve efficiency. You will be challenged daily to ensure the success of current and future Link 16 terminal designs and continue to grow the L3Harris Link 16 business area.

• Have strong experience in software configuration management.

• Be experienced in writing test scripts and automation in Python.

• Be able to utilize automation scripts effectively and efficiently for regression, integration, and certification testing.

• Have Experience in RF and digital test including the use of spectrum analyzers, high speed digital and mixed signal oscilloscopes, high performance RF signal generators, digital signal generators and logic analyzers.

• Be familiar with RF components and test methodologies as may be required to facilitate and instrument tests being performed and the limitations and specification of required components.

• Be able and desire to work in a lab environment while developing and performing both automated and hands-on testing.

• Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and ability to work with diverse teams of personnel inside and outside L3Harris.

• Be detail oriented with the ability to plan and track a large number of technical requirements.

• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

  Basic Qualifications:

  Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

  Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or similar field (CS, CE, EE, Physics, Math).

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience writing test scripts and automation in Python.

• Strong leadership skills and experience managing a technical engineering effort.

• Be a self-starter and work both independently and in a team.

• Be able to manage and collaborate the efforts of other team members supporting the projects being worked on.

• Be familiar with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project and the like).

• Be familiarity with the use of test automation tools (VBA within Excel, LabView, and similar).

• Active DoD Secret / Top Secret Clearance

  In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $85,000 - $158,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
