Job Title: SAT/ACT One-on-One Tutor (In-Home) - Language Arts Location: N. Our mission is to empower students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to excel in all subjects, all grades and we offer tutoring for the standardized SAT and ACT tests.  Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SAT/ACT One-on-One Language Arts Tutor to join our team. In this role, you will provide personalized instruction to high school students in the comfort of their homes. Your primary goal will be to help students improve their test scores by identifying their strengths and weaknesses and preparing them with test-taking strategies and offering a minimum of 3 practice tests. Tutor Doctor will provide the materials in partnership with Test Innovators.  Key Responsibilities: * Conduct one-on-one SAT/ACT tutoring sessions at students' homes. * Develop customized lesson plans and strategies based on each student's needs and goals. * Teach test-taking strategies, time management, and problem-solving techniques. * Administer practice tests and provide detailed feedback on performance. * Track and report on students' progress to parents and the company. * Use Test Innovators (paid for by Tutor Doctor) as your resource material.  * Motivate and encourage students that they can get the scores they strive for.  * Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate students' availability, including evenings and weekends if necessary. Qualifications: * Proven experience in tutoring or teaching SAT/ACT Language Arts portion.  * Strong knowledge of SAT/ACT content, structure, and test-taking strategies. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed. * Reliable transportation to travel to students' homes. * Background check required. Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. (Not required.)  * Min 2 years undergraduate college education.  * Experience with online tutoring platforms and resources. * Familiarity with other standardized tests (e.g., PSAT, AP exams).
